Biography

As the founder of North Inlet, Jeff has drawn on his extensive financial services experience with major corporations and entrepreneurs alike. He was a senior leader in what is now Wells Fargo’s Investment Bank for nearly a decade, where leadership roles included serving as the Head of Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity Coverage and Leveraged Capital Groups. Jeff also worked as an investment banker for Citigroup from 1994 to 1999, and for Morgan Stanley from 1987 to 1994.

In addition to his work at North Inlet, Jeff serves on multiple boards, including serving as Chairman at Piedmont Lithium, an emerging lithium company based in Belmont, NC.

Jeff graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in finance and marketing from the McIntire School of Commerce and an MBA from the Darden School of Business. In his community, Jeff serves as an elder at Myers Park Presbyterian Church and is actively engaged in health and human services work in underserved neighborhoods in Charlotte. Married with four children, Jeff and his family have enjoyed many vacations in coastal South Carolina, where he can often be found in his jon boat navigating the North Inlet.
